January Waterfowl in Ontario

While there are generally not many species of birds in Ontario in January, there are a lot of waterfowl, as long as there is open water. Western Lake Ontario and Burlington Bay are particularly good.

Canvasback drake
Greater scaup drake
Trumpeter swans
Buffleheads (female and male)
Common goldeneye (male and female)
Long-tailed drake
Greater scaup (female)
